Corrosion-resistant carbide block

2024-05-22

The corrosion-resistant carbide block, grade K40, has a hardness of up to 1400 HV10. It has a long service life, excellent wear resistance and excellent edge stability. These excellent properties make it stand out in many applications.

The corrosion-resistant carbide block has a balanced fine/medium grit type and can reliably process complex filigree molds and die geometries. Its high corrosion resistance is particularly suitable for wire-cut machining, ensuring efficient and stable processing.

In addition, corrosion-resistant carbide blocks fully comply with the mechanical and physical requirements of mold manufacturing. Whether it is blocks used for etching, cutting punches and dies, or moving parts used for stamping, embossing, bending and forming, it exhibits excellent wear resistance.

It is worth mentioning that the corrosion-resistant carbide block can withstand multiple EDM operations. During the EDM process, its superior properties of corrosion resistance, pitting corrosion, and anti-cracking are fully demonstrated, and it is especially suitable for processing complex components such as long punches and large mold parts.
